URBA is a Central European architecture and interior design practice with offices in Budapest and Vienna. Rooted in sensory minimalism and a deep focus on narrative, the studio creates immersive environments for the hospitality, retail, and residential sectors that masterfully bridge historic urban layers with sharp, contemporary design.
Driven by the transformative power of stripping away the unnecessary, URBA treats interiors as a tectonic landscape. By examining the unique context of each project, URBA balances material poetry with sustainable construction methods, often juxtaposing raw, textured materials against bespoke furniture elements and curated collectible pieces. As architects of atmosphere and operational flow, URBA builds spaces that look editorial but function flawlessly under high-traffic conditions.
Seamlessly scaling from independent interior design to collaborative large-scale architecture, the team works alongside a network of fabricators and contractors to ensure uncompromising execution that honours the cultural value of building well.
